What can we do to get PR?

From the first statements from Cameron it looks like it is going to be difficult to get PR into any coalition agreement, though you never know, so what on earth can we do to try and raise this issue more both within a coalition or without.

Well firstly we can try and put pressure on both the Libs in negotiation and on the conservatives by protesting, lobbying MP’s showing support in groups and so one. In fact many of these also make sense in the long run as well as if we can join pressure groups and attend more protests then it shows that this is something the public want.

If it turns out to be a minority government then we may be able to get a motion on the go for PR that i’m sure SNP, Plaid and some Labour would support, (however they weren’t too keen with our STV amendment last parliament on the AV referendum)

So here are some links for you

Facebook group: I bet I can find 1 Million people who want proportional representation

Unlock Democracy a pressure group who advocate some constitutional reform, might want to check their other proposals as you may not like them.

Take Back Power: A petition to sign to show your support for PR

post other suggestions in comments and I will add them!
